I am a returning player that played very briefly the last time I was here. Decided to start with a fresh PC and visited the elven ruins of Greatgaunt with a good fellow RPer.
I was blasted to pieces.
OMG. I don't think I've ever had a better scripted NWN experience, at least from 2004 when I began playing NWN online. Kudos to the Dev team, it is one of the best dungeons I've ever seen and the attention to lore and detail shows the level of commitment you people brought with you.
A very humbled and awed noob.

Had my first real trip through the new Mistwood today, and I gotta say it's exactly what I love to see in area like that.
One of my favorite things about some of the higher level areas are that they stand up to being called "dungeons" in their own right. Examples being some places in the Storm Horns, the underdark/upperdark and the Hullack. The sense that you're doing more than traveling from point A to point B to do the XP/GP dance adds so much to the feel of a living, breathing world.
Just being able to walk through the woods and find reasonable spawns that yielded GP and XP in a balanced manner was a fantastic change of pace from the usual Enter Cave>Get Levels mentality that can be so omnipresent at times.
The balance seemed spot on for the generally low expectations I have with the double rogue team of Netharmirth and Valandur; the scenery was excellent; the spawn placement and spacing was fantastic and the places had cohesive flow of both geography and types of enemies encountered. Everything felt very natural for Cormyr, and that may be the best possible compliment it could get in my book.
Fantastic job, whoever built this. I can't want to explore more of it.

I visited the Marsember wilds for the first time a couple of days ago and was amazed at how a simple wilderness area was turned into a very intriguing zone, with lots of little touches that make it really come alive and be very immersive, I really liked the encounters because I was caught completely off-guard and killed, but for the first time in a long time I wasn't upset at my demise instead I was thinking "I want to do that again!"
TLDR: Marsember wilds, awesome, keep it up!

I'm enjoying seeing a lot of the revamped temples, inns, and other various areas of late.
A lot of them have been very well done.
I noticed something odd about the recent remodel of the Wailing Wheel Inn. A brick wall texture was used for the floor. It is out of scale with the rest of the textures and there is also a light switch showing. I would highly recommend a different floor.

Great work builders on all of the newish looking areas I've seen. It's still unfortunate many people prefer to stand outside the regal griffon rather then enjoy the updated furnishings inside (which look fantastic). Old habits die hard. Also some of the low level dungeons really got a boost at some point (ruins, fungal dungeon) and are WAY better! It crazy the results you guys get with no HaKs required. Very nice.

I just went through the Greatgaunt ruins for the first time since they were redone. I love it! I've never been so eager to go back to a dungeon so soon... especially on a lowbie. I've been impressed by all the new areas I've seen including the Mistwood. Please keep adding more details and flavor text! : )

My hat is off for the Bahamut shrine and all I have seen so far of the updates, Wild Wolf Inn looks way better. I've not found the Elf Skull inn yet, I hope I stumble over it soon.
The shrine is a really attractive space and I like all the small touches. A big thank you!

Thumbs up for the great work on the new cellar in greatgaunt. Not sure how long has it been there but I did it today on a new pc and that place went from the most annoying starter dungeon to a lot of fun to run, I love that there is an actual cellar now!

I wanna thank Extropy for being patient and understanding. I wanna thank Hellwalker for being indulgent of ragetantrums and helpful with about 50000 little annoying things. I wanna thank Fisheyes for being constructively critical and super creative. I wanna thank the rest of the team for putting up with my various loud shenanigans, for being inspiring, and sharing time and talent both.
I had a really hard time with my computer screwups and os issues and toolset bugs, but you guys have been rocks. Would have given up without you guys. Not even kidding. Here's to more updates to come!

I am soooo in love with the new windows all over the server ... Dhedluk suite, Wailing Wheel downstairs, at the table. Those windows, which actually have an outside, give rooms so much more realism and space. Awesome.
