This is probably one of the single biggest weekends of module expansions/updates I have ever completed.
I want to take a brief moment to welcome lilshabba (aka Manshin in game) to the design team. He has contributed a whopping 20+ areas of various size and function to the module. Some of these will be used with existing material, some are to be addressed as "add-ons" to FRC. His work is of the highest quality and dare I say most is downright artful. This material is currently being integrated into the module as well as the normal building routines. His work is being added with an emphasis on matching the flavor of FRC, though admittingly it is taking very little effort on my part to make it work. He will be collaborating with us on future builds as well, so congratulations for both him and us.
- Added two significant areas to Thunderstone for an upcoming expansion eastward, including lilshabba's "Pike" sailing ship to the module
- Added several areas north of Arabel, reaching well into the foothills of the Storm Horns and as far as Castle Crag which was added to the module. Also added a Temple to Torm in Castle Crag for adventurers on the road to Tilverton. These areas are by lilshabba and yours truly
- Added several areas South and Southeast of Immersea for the (massive) upcoming expansion there
- Added to the Oghrann dwarves in the UD
- Added multiple creatures and NPC's to the custom tables
- Corrected a couple of exploit areas... namely the Mantis Clan Gem Sanctuary and the Ruined Tower of Redmist... I had no idea we had placed so many "high" treasure scripts in these areas... but they have been properly balanced
- Added multiple support areas to the module for upcoming general expansion
Now there really was alot more than this... some of it very basic, alot of mundane stuff not worth mentioning.
This was a huge weekend for FRC... that August goal of FRC 1.0 is looking very much in reach.
