I REALLY hate timestop. Especially when some mummy sorcerers keep casting it on you over and over again when your in the middle of trying to find a damn demi lich.
DAMN THOSE!

I've noticed that, while the visual effects for some spells (Barkskin, Stoneskin, etc.) have been removed, they still remain for spells such as Endure Elements, Ultravision, and a few others. It isn't clear to me that those spells would have actual visual effects. Can a DM clarify why these effects remain?
Thank you, in advance...

They have been slowly removing the visual effects of these spells mainly due to the enormous drain on folks CPU's not so much for accuracy although this is just one more reason to do so. Not all of the spells have been got to yet or some may be left alone entirely, Endure Elements I believe has had the visual removed but Energy Buffer the stronger version has not yet. Mostly there is a lot on the builders/scriptors plates and they try to get to these things as they can. They removed the most taxing visual effects first. I am sure when they get the chance others visuals will be removed. Those that have a PnP visual effect your supposed to be able to see though likely will not be removed unless for overall game stability improvement.
