Sir,
In a nod to the Bards' Bazaar and to give the opportunity to make new friends and reestablish old acquaintances, I would like to host a Gather Day on the Suzail Tournament Grounds.
A Gather would be quite simple. It is a full day that includes the basic buying and selling, games and contests of various sorts as well as bardic performances and refreshments. Adventuring merchants would be free to sell their wares all day, or as their time permits. I would hope to have tents erected in case of rain.
Contests would include, but are not limited to:
Arm Wrestling
Drinking Contests
Martial Duels ((with raise being required at the end of each duel))
Pie Eating Contest
Poetry/Song/Story Contest
Archery Contest
I have yet to determine a date for this event. I did not wish to plan too much without the approval of the Lord of the City.
