Backround
Pylia was born into a wealthy family from Suzail. Her mother was a hairdresser and a faithful of Sune. Her father was a city guard and a follower of Helm. She found herself offering prayers to both, but preferred Sune to Helm. To Pylia, Sune was warm and kind and beautiful. Helm was cold and emotionless and stern. But her father had always insisted that Helm’s watch and the prayers to Helm kept the family safe.
Her childhood was fairly normal and was spent mostly out playing with neighbor children. One such though was her best friend, Kholle. He had taken well to her quiet and shy personality when other children didn’t seem to understand. Others always yelled and ran and played noisily. She tended to watch and smile from the sideline and Kholle never pushed her out of her comfort zone.
Over the years the two kept very close and eventually wed after much convincing from Kholle who had come to follow Tymora.
Three days before their 2nd anniversary Pylia found out Kholle was seeing another woman. The result was them separating to think things through. Pylia moved back in with her parents, while Kholle stayed at their own home. She knew her father would overreact so she made up a simple lie to explain the separation and her need to stay with them. Her father, however, found out and ended up killing Kholle. The event caused an extreme family unraveling. Her trust for both Helmites and the male gender falling to nearly nothing, and a deep hatred for her father beginning to boil. The cares for her mother dropping as well as she only defended her father’s actions.
It was after that she left her family and went off on her own.
