Over the course of a tenday, hand-written copies of a missive are posted on notice boards in select inns and taverns, favored by adventurers, found in various cities and towns throughout the Kingdom. The letter is on plain but durable parchment and the writing penned in painstakingly precise calligraphy. The passage bears the title, "The Coming Storm." * * * Hail Cormyrians,
It has been heralded by lips mortal and divine: war is upon Cormyr, anew. By now it is difficult to have not heard the words of the Waterdhavian Lord, Piergieron Paladinson. His warning, his pledge of support, and his call for volunteers have echoed throughout the kingdom.
Many have given answer to the call. Folk of every creed have signed the Writ of Volunteers. I believe the muster of the Writ reflects proudly upon Cormyr. The Forest Kingdom will be well respresented.
We stand now in the calm before the coming storm. As rumors of strife flow in from all across Faerun, the winds begin to stir. The soldiers of allied states have marched to stand with Cormyr when the crucial time comes. The Purple Dragons and the War Wizards make preparations to fulfill their duty.
What then of you and what of me? What will the quality of our readiness be when the time comes? Many are willing to lend their aid, whether their signature rests on The Writ or not. Victory may well require the sword arm of every loyal Cormyrian. How best to support the effort?
I ask for loyal, chartered Cormyrian Adventurers to gather on the Tourney Grounds beyond Suzail's Northeast Gate on the third of the next tenday for council.
For the Future of Cormyr,
Sir Kelric Hawkrune* * * // The above is for a player sponsored meeting in response to the progression of the Silver Rush campaign. Any interested players please show at 9:00 PM U.S. Central Time tomorrow, February 16th. Apologies to all for not giving more notice or scheduling for the weekend, my schedule has been tight lately Hope to see ya there

For the Future of Cormyr,
Sir Kelric Hawkrune* * * Several of The Coming Storm parchments still hang as they were posted in various inns and taverns about the Kingdom. Over the course of the tenday, new words are written in bold strokes by the same hand, beneath the original passage. * * * Hail Cormyrians,
I extend my thanks to those who attended the council or expressed their presence by proxy, save one. We felt the bite of the Mad Wizard's magic and yet his pet dragons were slain and he was put on his arse in the dirt before he took his leave of us. He left with a hint of Cormyr's spirit and witnessed the steel of Cormyrian resolve to stand against his master.
To those who would continue the council where it left off, I would ask that you join me at the end of the Tenday. I shall request of the Keepers of Mystra's grove in Shallybrook to permit us to have council therein.
To those that answer, I ask that you enter the council for the singular purpose of unison against the coming storm.
For the Folk and Future of Cormyr,
Sir Kelric Hawkrune

A hooded figure in black and purple attaches a note to the boards under the rest:
I have noticed several postings of different parts of the militia gathering for training and such. How does one know they are apart of what section? Does each have their own "leader"?

I am also confused about the different militias. My character is Wald Colds - he signed the volunteers writ the other day in Mystra's Grove - but I have not heard from anyone in-game or on the forums about a "wing" or other assignment. Should I just try to find some of the leaders in-game or is there going to be some other communication on this forum?

Kelric might have missed a few, but he sent out a PM to some, maybe only the division leaders...
A list of required members will be added to the correct forum post of training for each division. they are broken down as such in general.
Silver Fang, Warriors and High Power (i.e. read epic or close) members
Silver Wing, Mages and a few defenders of such
Silver Talon, Scouts and such.
Hope this helps.

Um, where would you sign up for "Silver Militia" and do you have too to participate in the coming battles? Hello there GoP - just saw your post. If you're interested in the Silver Militia, just ask a member about it and things should go naturally from there. You don't have to be a member of the militia to participate in the coming battles. Please see page three of DM Ancient's post linked below concerning battle participation. frc.proboards37.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=8813&page=3I hope this helps. Hawk
