Well, I've seen a few other posts out there about what people think of characters and such, so, curiousity got the better of me and I had to find out some feedback of what people actually think of Edward, what I could improve etc?
Thanks, John

Well well...Ten would have really liked the guy about 1 year ago RT. But of course has no love for him what so ever as of now. I do like how you potray him however. Evil as hell really, and then just showing up in the presence of everyone else to basically say that he doesn't care. I have noticed his influence on the other pcs that he hangs around, and I think you do a very good job of playing him. He is the guy you love to hate....or really hate, either one. LOL Can't wait to find that dark alley sometime soon however. Ten wants to give him a kiss.

Edward's a great villian. Personally, I can't think much of how you could portray him better... except maybe giving Celith a few free shots at him.

Edward's a great vilian, but he's more than that too, he has a great depth once you actually get to know him. Many layers before you get to the real him, not that I think any has or ever will succeed in that. And many incidents in his past has lead up to what he is now. You manage to prove that even the most vile and evil man still can have feelings other than hate to the world. My characters' reaction to him are in many ways the same, most of them hate him one way or another, for various reasons. In addition to the hate Aren feels sorry for him, he's one of those she'd be willing to pay almost any price to hold and comfort, to take his hand and lead him towards the light. Shara loves him and hates him, she wanted him so much, she knew he could have helped her get strong, and he did, but the way he did it he broke them up too, now she hopes she can teach their children this same strenght. AyarrÃnuil will do anything to put him through the same missery he did to her, she tolerates him as her teacher and master, and one day she'll get her revenge, at the same time she admires him for how she broke her down and made her new. Love Hanne PS: Now go and post in mine too !

edward is one of those evil doers, that everyone hates, but can't do anything about due to what would happen if they did. Eddy's got some powerful friends but is just plane brillant, not to get caught, or with proof.
rannan's first officer. LOL
number 1, engage!

But seriously, when Luna first met Edward, she wanted to kill him. *shrugs* Good enough for me, Luna usually tolerates everyone until they do something to screw that up. Edward didnt even get that chance. Good job!

Mister Lorkus!
I may not be the best person to answer this question, because taken all together, Mouse has had very few interactions with Mister Edward.
However, her relationship (such as it is) with him has had some serious influence on her character development, and given me oodles of fodder for RP with Mouse, which has been very interesting for me.
I wouldn't have that reaction if Edward weren't a strong character. So, good job, eh!
As to things you could do better: oh, could you stop being an unbearably evil priest of Loviatar who tortures people for fun? Mouse finds that very inconvenient. Thank you very much.
Fred akadavid5 (Mouse)
n.b. I'm pretty sure I just used the phrase "oodles of fodder" in a sentence. That's just wrong. I'm leaving it in just so you all can see how very, very wrong that is. I blame Edward.

Shame so few people know about his past and such at the moment to truely understand him, they're too busy sharpening their pitchforks and lighting their torches for the next lynching.. hehehe. But, they'll never catch him.. mmwhaha.. the only pitchforks Edward will be feeling is the ones in HELL! *insane laugh*

Hmm... Edward Lorkus.
I personally think he is a masterfully done character. A true villain that most either look on in fear or hate. But, with that being said, Edward also has a side that is actually human and that is what makes the character, to me anyhow, realistic.
Now, from Dusk's perspective, she respects him because of the raw power he wields. From all their travels he's actually grown on her with his personality. He's one of the few that she's grown to trust, since he is actually honest with her, and she can actually call him a friend.
But overall, Edward is an awesome character! And traveling and talking with him have been a blast! ;D

The more I interact with Edward, the more I like him. He has a reputation as a terrible guy, and evidently is quite a tarnished soul, but...then again so are most of Darkharp's associates. I do say most.
I think you are doing a great job playing an evil character. Few players of evil seem to ever take on any likeable characteristics that aren't 'faked' for the benefit of interaction. As we know..good people have bad habits, and bad people are in some ways, still human enough to identify with us.
