...helping to perform/seeing a play performed IG?
Some time ago, Silverstring wrote a political satire entitled Tyrant's Bane. He mentioned it to Hoot who suggested that Silver actually have it performed. So, before I go digging for the script, who would be interested in helping perform it as well as just watching it?

I think this is a great idea, but presents the challenge of getting your actors and audience all in the same place at the same time. For the Annulus Cycle I managed to get about twenty people together for an audience, and had three participating bards..so, it can be done. How many actors would you require?

I showed Darkharp a theater set up a while back that I can dapt for your play that allow you to shift the scenery and stuff with a pull of the level plus a music band that allows you to change the music as well. Let me know if you guys would like it adapted to your play. |

This sounds like fun and on another server I played a bard who wrote a play but before I got it finished the server died and all persons disipated to elsewhere.
However, this sounds like something that will happen soon enough to count me out. I am still working on my Nano novel now and on top of that we (the chorus group I'm with) have a performance Dec 6 and probably one or two soon thereafter.
Perhaps though ... if it does not happen until later in December ... I would try out for a "speaking" part. Though there is also going to be an event elsewhere I have said I would do if the timing was right.
I dunno... I would hate to commit to this and then have to back out.
Though it would be so much fun! I will be in the audience if I am available definately.

I suggested it since I wanted to do something similar to it but Hoot doesn't really have any kind of perform feats. So its OOC for him to be interested. However, I am sure he would come to watch or help in any way he can.
There aren't any non speaking parts for Big dumb guard number 4?

The dramatis personae (list of characters) for this entertainment are as follows: The Evil King The King's Daughter - Scarlet The Hero - Ralen Ganero and Panero - The King's Jesters Two guards - no speaking parts Ralen's friends - Frey and Eben Those of you who have played Final Fantasy IX may find this entertainment rather familiar. If High Herald is amiable, I'm hoping to have a poster made to announce the casting call. |
