Esteemed Priestess Miranda,
You may not remember me, my name is Mouse, and I am a follower of the Lady Firehair. A lot of people, knowing my personality, question me about why I have chosen my faith. There is a long story behind it, which I will not relate here: but I explain to them that Sune is the right patron for me, because she encourages me to extend kindness to others, to love them, and to celebrate beauty in life.
When people point out to me that I am not a hedonist nor a sensualist, I remind them that those are the domain of Sharess, not of Sune: that the Lady Firehair celebrates romance and beauty, which should not be confused with hedonism.
As you know, a few days ago there was a "revel", sponsored by the temple. The activities at this event made me think that maybe everyone else is right, and I was wrong: maybe what matters most to the worship of Sune is not romance and beauty, but sensual pleasures. I was very uncomfortable at the event, and couldn't attend the second day, where the activities, I am told, were even more extreme.
If I have been mistaken all this time in my patron, then I would wish to know that now, because I am a poor worshipper if I should be a sensualist, for I am not. For the past few days I have been thinking I ought to be seeking out a different patron, and it is tearing me apart.
