Hey everyone,
Vball5 and I talked and thought it might be helpful to the server to list the different player Dwarven Clans with their histories, home/dwarven city/cithedal preferred classes, and preferred deities. With each clan will be a listing of dwarven characters and their player’s forum name. This is so if anyone wants to play one of same clans as either a sibling, cousin or other relative of one of the other characters they may.

Home: Mithral Hall Main Diety(s): Haela Brightaxe Typical Alignments: NG, CG, CN
History: Over a thousand years ago the clan received its name when founder Grigor Bladebite the Battle Rager in a battle with orcs caught an orc great sword of an orc champion in his mouth. Grigor just smiled at the orc as bit down into the blade and broke it in half and slew the orc causing the few remaining orcs to flee in fear. A tradition kept to this day among the Bladebites is that before a dwarf of their clan is considered a man or woman, they must bite down with their mouth through a blade of a fallen foe.
Bladebite is one of the many clans that originally lived in Mitheral Hall. With the fall of Mitheral Hall, many of the clan headed to Citadel Adbar. When King Bruenor Battlehammer retook Mitheral Hall, Clan Bladebite was one of many clans to head the call to return home and finish cleaning the depths of Mitheral Hall.
This dwarven clan is known to participate in the most craziest of the drinking and feasting of dwarves as well as not knowing what a bath is. The clan enjoys heading into battle just to enjoy slaying and drenching themselves in the blood of dwarven enemies. This joy of battle leads many of the clan to follow Haela Brightaxe as she as become the chosen diety of the clan. Most members of the clans become fighters, barbarians though there are a few clerics of Hael Brightaxe as well. Those that prove worthy head down the path of the Battle Rager. They serve as miners and fierce warriors for King Bruenor. There are a few that take the time to become great smiths and rune casters. Many of them charge into battle on the front lines into the thickest of battles. There are a few in the clan that roam Faerun hunting down enemies of dwarves and looking for new battles or aiding fellow dwarves from Mitheral Hall with trading. Don’t trust the Bladebites to be diplomats though, they rather use axe and metal.
Current Characters: Lemli Bladebite – Kharn597

Home: Mithral Hall Main Deity: Marthammor Duin Typical Alignments:CG,NG,CN
History: The Caverholmes began a scant eight generations ago which is young for most dwarven names to be around. With the Battlehammers, the Caverholmes helped find the caves that became the dwarven city Mithral Hall. Though sometimes considered an odd ball clan due to the largely independent dwarves that spring from the line of Cortar Caverholme, they have long been the roving feet of Mithral Hall as the traders and deep miners who find the rich veins that go deep into the Dark. Most of the Caverholmes carry the shame that it was one of their ilk who had discovered the door that let the evil Shimmergloom push the dwarves out of Mithral Hall. As travelers and caver's, rangers of the Underdark, and guides who serve their king and their own pressing need for gold, the Caverholmes are known as shrewd bargainers even amongst the dwarves if though just about a little crackers for their crazy ideals and independent streaks. Since they have long served the King of Mithral Hall, even in exile, they are typically the ones that serve as outside negotiators for the goods made by the clan as well as unofficial ambassadors sent to various parts of the Realms for information gathering...though some say the ones sent are really sent as a way to get these damm independent dwarves out of the Mithral Hall...
Current PCS Guldar Caverholme, trader and merchant

Home: Great Rift Main Deity(s): Gorm Gulthin
History:
Founded by Ryktor Granitegrip, who was given the name after he and a band of his fellow's, were abducted by Mind Flayers. Ryktor, spent years fighting the enchantments they place on him, until finally while mining for the beasts, he somehow ripped a chunk of granite from the tunnel, and brought it with him when they were ordered to rest. He carried the hunk of ore past his resting area, and hurled it at the "foreman" Mind Flayer, who hadn't realized he had lost control of the one dwarf.
Ryktor and his band escaped, along with a few other survivors, and thus they established a new clan of Gold Dwarves. Founded on the ideals on the destruction of Aberrations, and upholding dwarven traditions. Many of the Granitegrips are Fighters, and Clerics, having the discipline of their elders bestowed upon them. Later on, most will either retire into a trade, such as smithing, or become Dwarven Defenders.
The Granitegrips are charged with the maintaining of a sizeable outpost, in the underdark leading toward the Great Rift. They are considered an outer wall, which has yet to have been breached since it's construction.
