Once upon a time there was a young girl with honey colored blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She was a happy girl, always had a bright smile on her face, her eyes always dancing with mirth. Her family loved and adored her, worshiped her even. That is until the day she turned twelve years old.
Hally pulled on her elbow length white gloves and let out a sigh. It was the same routine every morning, wake up, get dressed, put on gloves. She looked down at her hands impassively. Right now they looked so plain and innocent, as if they had never done anything wrong. Letting out another sigh she grabbed her leather thong and tied her blond locks up into a high pony tail, her bangs hanging down in her face as they so constantly did. Chewing her lip she grabbed her new staff that lay against the chest of drawers in her room, she smiled as the memory of who bought her the staff entered her mind. She had just shown him her newest spell that had taken her forever to learn, he just smiled.
"Oh! Ive bought something for you." he spoke to her with a charming smile.
Shaking her head and grinning she opened the door to her room and headed out into the corridor and down the stairs. The inn was full of random adventurers, and she smiled to each as she walked past them and out into the town.
"I knew it! She is just like your mother!" The man screamed at his wife. "Tainted. Her blood is tainted!"
He reached for the little girl, his bare hand grabbing her around her arm. The moment their skin touched a violent shock flew out of her body and into his knocking him back onto his rear. His eyes opened wide with shock and horror.
The little girl's expression matched her fathers. "Daddy, Im sorry!" She took a step towards him, her arms out stretched. "Daddy, please forgive me!"
"You're a monster Hally." He spoke calmly as he stood up once again. He looked down, towering over her. "This cannot be allowed." He grabbed her by the scruff of her blouse and led her down the stairs of their elegant home and into the basement. Without a word, he opened the door and unceremoniously, tossed her into the dark room.
Her big cerulean eyes stared up at the man she once worshipped, tears streaming helplessly down her face.
"Daddy, I didnt mean to."
His eyes, so like her own stared down at her. "You are no daughter of mine." He slammed the door shut.
