Name: Logan "Thunderstaff" Kale
Gender: Male
Race: Gnome
Age: 75
Height: 3'5"
Build: Taller and broader than a regular gnome, but still small compared to taller races
Eyes: Grey-blue
Hair: White
Class: Wizard
Alignment: Neutral Good
Deity: Mystra
Personality: Mistrusting of tall-folk, as is common amongst the shorter races, but over time has learned to keep an open mind. Experiences in his life have made him slightly jaded, and while good at heart he has been left with the impression people serve no one but themselves, and as such often questions their motives. He always conducts himself in a manner in keeping with his intelligence and is always seeking new knowledge, be it the arcane, mythical archeological, technological, anthropological or anything else he finds intrigueing.
Brief History: Logan was born in a small gnomish village on the northern border of the Forest of Tethir, which itself borders between Amn and Tethyr. He grew up, married a local girl, had two children, a normal happy gnomish life. One day a warband of Orcs came into his village, having travelled further than normal in search of places to raid. They attacked, slaughtering all in their path, including Logan's family. He had been out foraging for food when the attack had occured, and upon his return was devastated. For days he poured over what remained of his village, his grief beyond measure. Eventually he consoled himself. He could not remain here, where everything that made it his home was now dead. He had always been an intelligent gnome, and the mages within the village had always been trying to apprentice him, so he found what magical tomes he could, and left. To travel the lands and learn the ways of magic. Through magic he knew he could gain the strength so no one could take anything from him ever again.
One day on his travels, passing through an Amnish town called Crimmor, he was passing by a field when he noticed a large lump amongst the crops. Upon investigating he found it was a young man, a somewhat simple-minded young man who's parents had abandoned him to his fate after falling on hard times. Logan took pity on the young man, and adopted him as his own, where they now wander the lands together.
