*delivered by messenger to the offices of Lord Scoril*
To His Right Honorable Lordship does Cald Ashall, the Silverstring, assistant to Darkharp of the Alizarin Academy, send greetings:
My Lord, earlier this night I came upon a most dreadful sight. The detached head of a white dragon had been left upon the steps of the Alizarin Academy of Bardic and Arcane Lore in this, the fair city of Marsember. I endeavored to get it inside as quickly as possible, but I'm sure that rumors of this have spread across the city, perhaps across the region, already.
There seemed to be no clues left behind. From what I have been told one moment the steps were clear, next, the head was resting there. I am hoping to look into this mystery and have it resolved as quickly as possible. Any effort that the Crown is willing to make would be greatly appreciated.
Your servant, Cald Ashall Silverstring
*the letter is sealed in red wax, with a great dragon holding a harp*

Lord Scoril eventually makes his way to his work quarters after a brief walk within the streets of Marsember. He had heard the faint whispers of a dragon head being left at someone’s doorstep. At first this was just a mere rumor to him. To his surpise, he reads the letter from Cald Ashall to confirm that the whispers were true.
“Now what in the hells? Why couldn‘t the culprit just litter the streets with a simple piece of paper? Why a dragon head? 500 lions to the coffers at least,” he says, sighing to himself and just shaking his head with an eye roll. He promptly gets to work on a letter which he shall send out to the Alizarin Academy.
