A youth steps off the caravan in Suzail and makes his way to the royal palace obviously losing his way several times and having to stop and ask directions. In his hand is carefully clutched a piece of cheap parchment tied with string and addressed to the crown. He swallows a bit nervously as the beauty of the gardens and elegance of the palace register in his mind. Then his eyes narrow in anger. So much hardship and this is how they live. He was suddenly glad to be a citizen of Redmist.
Collecting himself and smoothing his expression, he approaches a guard holding out the parchment, “Please, sir, my father asked I see this brought here. Can you see it gets to the Princess.”
to the crown:
i am a farmer from the free state of redmist. i am not a rich man nor am i very importent. i do not care much about nobles fighten each other over land, cepting when it is my land. i am simply trying to feed my family and do what i enjoy doing. i tell you this cause it has been hard to do that what with your people comin into redmist to fight with our guards. i saw one and heard of one time when our tavern was attacked without reason. i also saw our captin being thretened by two of your people and i know of one of our folk being takn to a jail in isnihold for no reason. i ask you keep your folk away from redmist iffin they are comin jest to make trouble. we do not do that to you. i also ask you find your folk what did this and see they are made to pay for it as is only fair. our own captin would not let us get away with sometin like that.
thank you for redening this,
