Dear Ezzy,
You'll never believe this. You remember the seamstress I told you so much about? I ran into her in a town called Isinhold. I was completely shocked. It was very good to see her, and unless I have lost the sense I have had for so long, I think she was legitimately happy to see me as well. I realize you always tell me that I have to get past my paranoia of "killers come as friends", but realize that the attitude runs years deeper than my association with you, and *a word is nearly completely blacked out with ink* the seamstress. Besides which, it has been a few years since I have last seen her, and people change. Still, I'm merely happy to be near someone that I trust and am fond of as much, if not moreso than even you.
As it stands, I am going to see what kind of coin I can make out here, and hang around the seamstress. The seamstress says another fellow I found very interesting is in the area as well, so I will try to get into contact with him as well.
Send my regards to the students. Stay well.

N,
I don't know what you expect me to do. I would've thought you had moved on by know. She's been gone long enough that she is either dead, unable or unwilling to contact either of us. You're getting older; it's time to accept that, hard as it is.
I realize the money coming in is thin. It's enough to pay to keep you in there, but you're going to have to scrounge enough coin to keep yourself otherwise sustained. This should only be temporary.
DON'T start thinking you should just get out. You've made it this far. Finish it. Our friend tells me you keep pestering him to tell you where I am. Cut it out. Just keep giving him your letters if you need to contact me. I might visit in a few months.

Ezzy,
Things are picking up. I met the other associate I mentioned previously. I had forgotten how well we worked together, even in the short time our business crossed. He is one of the more intelligent gents I've come across, and I'm going to make sure our interests are tied for as long as possible. That aside, in him I think I find an unlikely friend. I respect him, as he is completely straightforward. He's the type of fellow that will call you friend, but tell you openly that he will not hesitate to out-maneuver you in business if it comes to it. He is open to the point of being honest, but not to the point of sacrificing his position. There is no true lie with him. He speaks truth even in his lies.
Aside from him, I am finding my first experience of Cormyr to be a pleasent one. I like many of the folks I meet. Money is decent.
Regards to the students.

Corus
She's dead. You can come back to give your respects and secure what she left behind. Make it fast.

'Fish stared at the letter for nearly an hour. No light poured through the tavern window, so the only illumination in the room was from a solitary candle, the second which stood by it had extinguished in the cool air half an hour before.
After bringing himself out of his emotional and physical atrophy, 'Fish got to writing two letters which he was to give to people in Cormyr. When he completed and sealed them, his single good eye watched on as the letter was consumed by the flame of the solitary candle.
And silently, he wept.
