Lord Bloodstil,
Calm is returning to the city and some are so pleased with the developments that they have taken up arms and enlisted in the Redmist Guard with no beckoning of my own.
However there remains as issue of soreness among the people. Amid the celebration of our independence, the commoners gathered around the Heroes of Redmist statues tossing eggs and tomatoes at them, using farming tools to strike at the stone and so on. In fact this morning a half naked dwarf was caught dancing, jeering and defacing the statues in a most revolting manner.
As such I request removal and destruction of these statues. The Heroes saved Redmist on behalf of Cormyr, for the selfish interests of the Crown, there was no concern for the people themselves and they know it.
Allowing them to remain serves as a constant reminder of the Purple Dragons and the Crown that oppressed the people of Redmist for far too long. I am quite certain our Thayan allies can provide a suitable replacement to fill that area.

Captain Ranan,
The mere sight of the Cormyrian Oversword and her other pawns in our city disgusts me. Let the will of the people be so. Tear the statues down!
