*An arrow flies over the western wall of Redmist, and sinks into the gate with a sealed parchment attached. On the outside, written in firm bold strokes is "Lord Bloodstil, from Sharita Amraphen-Gallen". On opening the parchment reads:*
To the Lord Bloodstil, Lord of Redmist,
Greetings!
My apologies for the method of delivery as when I approached the western gate, the guards, steadfast in thier duty, sought to drive me off. My commendations to their dedication, and as I have no quarrel with them, I gave them respectable distance.
I came on behalf and under the orders of Battlemaster Lord Sthavar to ensure that all Purple Dragon Units have been allowed to leave the city upon the end of hostilities. I understand one Purple Dragon was held in reparations for the damage done by adventurers during negotiations. I would ask that he be released and returned to his unit as soon as possible if he has not yet been allowed to leave.
I would also ask, that the remains of the deceased War Wizard negotiator be returned to the realm of Cormyr for a proper funeral, befitting of one who died, with honor, in the performance of his duty.
It is my hope, that Redmist, and its people will benefit and prosper under the new arrangement, and that in the future our two governments will be able to work in a co-operative manner.
In Service,
Sharita Amraphen-Gallen

*The note is delivered to the Council of Lords and presented to Lord Bloodstil who reads through the note with amusement*
Such pathetic sentiments they hold for one of their own. Summon the Captain of the Guards! Have him remove what's left of the War Wizard from the execution square, pack him into a nice small box and return it to the Crown's lackeys and let them never say we are without mercy.
As for the other Purple Dragon prisoners . . . *gives it a brief moment of though* execute them and return them together.
*Returns to his discussion with the Council of Lords*
