I am writing to both you and the council to inquire if the purple Dragons detained by the council might be released to return to their families. With the granting of independence by the crown there is no need to retain these men as the councils guests. Perhaps as a show of good faith on the council of Elders part these individuals may be allowed to return home to Cormyr.
