To the Headmasters of the Stormhaven House,
I am writing to you on behalf of all hopeful magi who wish to adventure in your fine nation of Cormyr. I understand that registration is an unavoidable process to undertake so the leaders of your land know the whereabouts and numbers of the magic wielding populace that roam your country. It is a matter of national security that I highly agree with, although, myself and a few fellow hopefuls have found that the price of registration is a bit hard to come by.
I understand that if one plans on using your fine facilities of alchemy, wand crafting, and the recharging of items magical, that the price is well worth it! Although, some fellow magi like myself have no formal training in these arts, nor do we plan on doing so in the near future. Funds can be hard to come by, and I suggest a price decrease in the base registration cost. This will make it easier on yourselves as well as make it easier on the upcoming mages of your fine realm. Hopeful magi will have an easier time to register and do so quickly and this can help along the process of keeping tabs on the mages in your lands as a cheaper price would result in more complying easily to the law.
I also suggest that the cost to use your splendid facility, if any of the hopeful magi plan to learn these arts later on in their career, could be separate from the registering fee so you still have revenue coming in to fund your establishment.
Warmest Regards, Dorian Hawke of Waterdeep

The Crown has deemed that visiting mages need only register there sigil with the Stormhaven House in Espar. The fee for such registration will be 500 lions.
If use of the facilities is needed, an additional fee will apply.
