Writen in clean precise script, a letter is delivered to the Suzail lords council.
To the High Lord's Council,
I am writing on behalf of our Santuary in Suzail, the Houses of Healing. Currently, the sisters and brothers of our order have been working dutifully to serve the needs of the people of Suzail. Yet, the work is grown more difficult by the rarety of supplies. Our soup kitchens and infirmery have barley enough stocks for us to maintain our care, and the tax which we must pay to bring supplies in to treat the sick and hurt are more than we are able to bear. So it is with pleading that I ask you in the name of compassion to help us, your devoted healers, to help Cormyr. I ask that the Santuary be granted healer's guild status that we might bring in supplies from outside the city with which to serve the populous with more efficency.
With our guild status invoked, we will use our humble chapel to do all of the above mentioned things and more. We shall train and recruit new healers to tend Cormyr's wounded. Encourage the spirit of charity with which the crown was forged upon, and create a Santuary where all can come who are in need of help, and recieve all that we may offer with out need of payment or debt.
As a remainder of the Santuary of Hope that was closed for taxes owed, I beseach you to consider that no kingdom can truly be great if its people are not blessed with the love of her rulers. The temple to Ilmater in Shadowdale has already agreed to send supplies to us if only we can bring them into the city without taxes owed. Please, give your healers back their hospital and ability to work so that we may hope to accomplish and end where no Cormyrian need go without santuary and healing. On behalf of all of our members and would-be members, and all those who suffer needlessly we ask that you grant us this boon and relinquish guild status back to us. Enclosed is a copy of preposed bylaws.
If you are in need of support to this cause from the populous, it is my hope that others will come and give their support and blessings.
Yours truly in faith,
Abbigail J. Winters,
Healer of Ilmater and Sister of the Santuary
