Anyone see this? this guy is like the member that founded PETA and in the end he gets eaten by bears, what did he do wrong? I enjoyd his respect for nature but sadly it was his flaw in knowing the main rule of nature its self. Survivle of the fitest and most adaptable well he was not fit enough to fight an 800 lbs bear nor was he adaptable to not be eaten by a bear. we have gone to far away from our primitive roots to the point were we have little kin ship with nature, our natueral sences are gone.

yea I lived in alaska when this guy got eaten, and good riddance.
"Mr. I Love the Bears!"
what an A-Hole, if he really had any love for them, he would have left them the hell alone, rather than desensitize the bears (who are doing really well all by their damn self out there) to man.
By doing that he was signing their death warrants basically. Because a bear that gets used to people gets closer to people. Bears that get close to people start to not respect people. Then people think these nice friendly bears that come close to them to eat out of the dumpster are pets. Then some idiot goes and tries to take a picture with the bear and it eats them.
then the bear is a "nuisance" bear and has to be shot. And if it is a sow, she probably taught her cubs the exact same thing. so guess what? they have to be put down too.
That guy was an idiot, and Darwin just got his theory supported again. One more moron out of the gene pool.

I watched the movie, your right he was ment to leave the bears alone. He would get in the water and pet the bear while it was trying to get a fish and the thing almost went ape on him if it was not for the promis of food.
THey arent teddy bears, they are wild animals who have no more need to be around us even in the far past when we were a much less evolved form, they did not like us now nor will they ever. their animals

Sure I would love nothing more then to live in the center of the forest for the rest of my life, no taxes, no bills, no money, no need for money. A simple but deadly life style if you arent sure what your doing. I would leave the bears alone.

The tabs were a little tricky to get the hang of but I got it down ;D I respected Tim's love to get back in with nature, sadly like all of us as I have said before have left Mother Nature womb long ago and for to long now that we lost all our natural sences...
Fear of Trucks? a still primal fear we humans have, large, loud, a mental trigger sets of Predator alert.
Fear of small things, most likley a primal fear dating back to when we were discovering that more the often small ment poison.
The breath of the Predators down our necks drove us this far, how do we get back?

I would also recommend watching this, it may seem odd but it's worth it, he may seem to be an interesting fellow but deep down he was trying to prove somthing.

Interesting? Only in the sense that you actually get to see someone insane running around. I've never seen a truly insane person till i saw him. All you have to do is listen to him in the first 10 min of the film and you know there is something wrong with him.
All I know is that if you go to live in that type of environment, you have to realize that your intimidating visage is not enough to gain the respect from the bears. That kind of world only respects brute force power. Humans need to use their other faculties to survive amongst wild animals. And you most certainly do NOT try to make friends with animals.
However, I do see where he is coming from, cause i have often felt the same. But i told my friend, "If i go insane, this is what it is going to be like." To which my friend responded, "You would want to have sex with bears?" To which i gave a blank stare. But he was right. If this dude could have, he would have turned himself into a bear and had a huge bear orgy.

He was fighting many demons including alcoholism one of many things that drove him that far. I hear you to, like I keep saying I would want to live the simple life.

This is kinda why I hate most vegan arguements about animals feelings and such....cuase do you think they give two *bleep*s if they eat us or another animal...hell no..it's all about being the top of the food chain. Of course I don't really agree with sport hunting and such..but I sure as hell wouldn't go to the degree of some of these folks. I mean come on...Pam Anderson and chickens? I think that should be point and match..case closed.

True, it was kind of funny comming from Pam a woman who has breast work and she want to let chickens live? True it's the circle of life, at one point wolves made us food. At one point we shared the top of the food chain with like 100 other animals, now it's just us. I hunt but not for sport, bambi taste good and I never really waste any part of the animle. The dog likes the bones
