I hope this missive finds you in good health and high spirits. It is with a humble heart and a pressing need that I write to you on behalf of the Lord Baron of Valkur's Roar.
Word may have already reached the community of Shallybrook about a noble and selfless endeavor to liberate a group of enslaved children from their Thayan masters. As a result, there are now 50 new faces among the orphans of Hope's Cradle, but the orphanage is much too small to properly care for that many children for too long. Among these freed innocent souls, we have discovered two young halflings lost and adrift in a world unfamiliar to them.
These children, mere blossoms in the grand garden of life, are in need of tender care and nurturing guidance to adjust to their new lives. Their innocent eyes are filled with the hope of a brighter future; the Lord Baron and I firmly believe that with your guidance and the support of your community, that future can be found within the embrace of Yondalla and her Children. It is with this in mind that we turn to you, Priestess, whose compassion and dedication to the welfare of others is known far and wide.
I humbly request to meet with you to discuss the possibility of Shallybrook adopting the two young halflings. Please let me know a suitable time for a meeting where this matter can be further discussed.
