The Working's of a Wandering Dwarf

*After helping Holan with some friendly chores, cleaning the forge and organizing the tools, Bunar pays his rental fee to the smith to allow him to work the forge a while. The shaggy haired dwarf lays out his tools next to Holan's, some manacle components he fashioned eaerlier and starts bellowing the forge. Bunar stops pumping air onto the coals after a while and holds out his hand, testing the heat. Once satisfied, he grabs an ingot of dwarven steel and begins softening the metal with the immense heat from the forge.

Once the metal is a nice bright orange, he pulls it out using the same pincers and sets it on the anvil. Grabbing his forge hammer, he begins hammering away, elongating the steel and cutting it into small little rods. Each rod is then rounded and linked into the other, creating a nice even chain.

He takes a moment, wiping sweat from his brow and exhaling. Bunar sets his hammer down, flexing his calloused fingers and then relaxing them. His gaze shifts to the work bench where his tools and manacle pieces lay.

"Me hope this works." He thinks to himself. "Why she wanna risk goin' back to tha' death trap be beyond me. Never thought I'd make cold iron manacles b'fore. The stones on this lass I tell ye..."

He gives his head a shake before carefully piecing together the adjustable manacles and then attaching them to the newly crafted chains.
