As winter rolls on and the frost cuts in to the poorer areas of the city of Valkur's Roar, there are small signs of some heat being provided. Mostly along the slums, but in the last tenday along the length of the docks, helping to give the winter weary dockworkers and "working lasses" a few hours of warmth. Some extra dry wood is also provided. The braziers are generally put in areas where they are sheltered from the winds off the Dragonmere. Some are still placed in the slums. Any dock workers asked would state they saw Mynian Copperhand hauling the braziers around on her horse. She didn't speak to anyone but encouraged anyone nearby to partake of the warmth while it was there. //OOC feel free to use this thread to also post what your character might be doing for the winter months, doesn't have to be Valkur's Roar, it's open for all parts of the kingdom

Saelzira takes time in her morning routine to plan her ventures for the day and where the winter winds will take her as she warms herself by the Brazer in Greatgaunt. That, and to wait for her Cleric friend to come around so there is enjoyable company to share the spoils with.

Whitelaw, as part of her line of braziers between Valkur's and Great Gaunt, where she has been researching ideas for the "Festival of Lights", has been placing spare braziers next to guards, Bron and the Town Crier in Valkurs Roar. A small thing to keep the cold away.

Alyster had unbound two books within his editing room. One a volume in his own hand, the other a volume he had semi-recently acquired. The books both ran down similar lines of history, but each lacked details the other covered more fully. Rearranging them on the floor of his office, he took to cutting them both into pieces with a very sharp knife.
As he did so he arranged the scraps into pages, half and quarter pages: all having been carefully clipped out of their original homes and secured to larger more durable scrap book pages. Two days of intense work saw the books arranged into the semblance of a complete narrative. Rewrites were necessary to combine the facts into a truly joined writing, but he had now assembled the 4th draft of The Raven & the Dragon, the events were lain out which fully explained the details of the conflict in 1377 and 1378.
It was his best work, he knew as an editor. The few details he had lacked information on when he compiled the three previous drafts were explained now, other weak areas of the previous drafts were also strengthened and made more precise. Several questionable dates and events were set firmly in the stone of history now.
The bard continued his work, it was all there was. History was one of many topics he was compelled to record knowledge of, and as he glanced up at other desks and other writings, he resolved that they would need to wait at least for now. He had momentum on this project which he had shelved months back to rebuild his will to continue with it. History was exhausting like few other topics.
