I guess it's about time I threw one of these posts together!
I'm on the US east coast and my job is WFH, 9 AM-6 PM. So, weekdays, I'm most frequently and reliably available past ~8 PM ET, though I'll occasionally pop on during the day if things are slow. I am terminally online on Discord (username: Veneousaur), and almost always available to take a message there, so feel free to hit me up whenever if you need anything or just wanna chat.
Most of my DM work at the moment is fairly impromptu, and I do my best to add some depth to the setting and make things more immersive. I love to see people RPing even if they think they're alone, and if players in a dungeon are RPing and emoting when I'm online (even and especially if they're alone), I'm much more likely to engage than if you're just killing things in total silence.
I don't currently have any ongoing major plotlines, but I've a small number of "intermittently recurring when I see a good opportunity and I feel like it" NPCs with their own stories continuing in the background who you might cross paths with:
A kobold adventurer!
An unlucky imp!
A melancholic lich!
Apirate salty seadog who doesn't especially want to get shanked by adventurers today!
I like making dungeons more interesting, I like giving players memorable (albeit silly) tokens, and I like making NPCs behave more realistically - both chatty townfolk, and enemies out in the field both.
I currently have slots open for requests with assistance in running personal quests for your characters or small groups. Want to take your character in a particular direction, but need some DM help making it work? Have some goal your character or their crew wants to pursue but you aren't sure where to start? Hit me up in DM and we can discuss. (No promises about fancy loot and the like. I'm more interested in helping to facilitate your character's development and advancing their narrative than I am in just handing out shiny things. The shiny things are an occasional perk at the end, but they usually shouldn't be the driving force behind the plot. Unless your plot's just "I'm really greedy and want to pull a huge heist" or something, I guess!)
