please do not leave unwanted remains or other loot on the ground, if you don't want them pick them up and put them in a chest or bones or something, this will result in a huge decrease in lag for everyone. a few nights ago i went to the ettercaps in the brambles and came out with 2.5 full pages of ettercap glands, only a few of them being mine. even if you are a wizard and have low STR pick it up and back track or something to get rid of the unwanted items. i'm just sick of having to pick up things for other people. thank you very much

Honestly.... its a bit nuts when people in your /party/ have to start cleaning up after you.

I'm not saying that i am for just leaving junk spawned loot laying around.... But sometimes it's pointless for a character to just turn around and leave, so that they can remove the spawned stuff. A wizard with let's say a 9 strength can only carry like 80lbs... And if they find a little bit of armor they are screwed... You can't expect everyone to waste mass amounts of time running back and forth between trash recepticles.. especially if they are on a limited amount of playing time, much like myself(although i pick up most all my loot). Before anyone get's all huffy over this, i'm not trying to start nothin. Just stateing that some characters can't afford to pick up every piece of loot that spawns. That's just how it is... Now if there was a nifty little ledge in every area you could permanently toss stuff off of, then just maybe...
~Alex
P.S. just kiddin about the ledge.

If you don't want what a creature drops, put it in a persistant container. Such as bones, barrels, spider cacoons....so forth. This will keep the server from having to track each item that is laying in remains on the ground.

A wizard with let's say a 9 strength can only carry like 80lbs... Then the wizard with a 9 Strength needs to find himself a fighter or barbarian sort with 16 Strength that can be a meat shield and pack mule. I don't want to turn this into a discussion about soloing/non-soloing. If your character's pack is full then it's time to stop hunting and turn around and head back to town. When you head back out again you best pick up what was left behind the last time you were through. If you're going to solo with a low Strength character then that's the sort of bullet one needs to bite for the good of the whole server.

Ah, i guess i did misunderstand.. i've said this before, i should get my eyes checked... That is a much easier to deal with solution. And about biting the bullet, i'm didn't mean that from the perspective of a soloist. I was just saying that sometimes your meat-shields packs get full up. And so is yours, sometimes for the sake of Rp, it's not okay to just return to town.. For example a time me and some other unnamed characters ventured to the island with the gnome house. We all ended up with our packs full, and we were Rping it like we couldn't just return untill we solved the door problem. Although i can see where it is you are coming from.

there is a dwarf that sells them named guldar for a very good rate just for this reason so he is not freaking stranded in a crazy place that some druid, nutso smith, or crazy half breed drug him to when all he wants to do is drink ale, make love to beautiful bearded women, and sell his wares. he has many types of bags and all you need to do is ask some tavern owner via a tell to guldar where he is and he will tell you most of the time. but, do not tell him to come to you or he will tell you how to get to ring Hells Bells personnally.

Basically, it's like this: We aren't your parents. You should know better. Clean up after yourselves. Same thing goes for spawns. If you or your party happen to spawn something on your way somewhere, please, PLEASE try to kill and clean them. It takes so much out of resources for the server to keep track of the new entities. It's also common courtesy to your fellow player because quite a few scripts spawn things according to level. So if a level 15 goes through an area and spawns stuff, it's very likely that a level 8 won't be able to handle the creature or numbers that were spawned from the 15. Please try to at least pick up after yourselves... Please. I hate being Mom to 30+ children that don't listen.
