A young adult halfling woman with golden green eyes and light brown hair, wearing green and yellow skirts and a blousy peasant smock, (but no jewelry or makeup,) knocks on the door. With no answer from inside, she removes a scraped parchment from her sleeve and, with a charcoal stylus, writes:
Dusty Trayles seeking scrivening services.
I seek scrivening services for nine copies, in durable stage script booklets, of the play, 'Desdemona: A Study of Love', by The Bard Of Waterdeep.
I have Volume 1 of a compilation The Bard's work, including his earliest ten plays and a handful of his poems from that era from which to make the copies.
While I shall require the original work returned unharmed, in lieu of payment I offer the opportunity for your scribes to copy the work, along with the notes of the editor of the collection.
Each of the nine copies will emphasize the role of one of the seven primary characters for the use of the actors in preparation for their parts, and one which emphasizes stage direction and effects. The final copy will be the whole work for the use of minor cast and the director of the play.
I can be found at Mdm. Beaucheri's studio every workday unless Mdm. is engaged in theatrical affairs.
She signs in an overly stylized manner, 'Dusty Trayles', and draws a tiny right footprint after her signature.
