The rumor mill explodes with the gossip that Alyster Darkharp was seen fleeing through the Suzail streets near the Northeast Market, his clothes and mask said to have been in disarray and partially burned away.
Other stories go that Sylus Stormcrown was seen also hastily fleeing the area, but with the badly mangled dead or unconscious body of Darkharp thrown over his shoulder. Some say they got a good enough look to note that all that was left of Alyster’s right hand was a burned and blackened stump.
All agree that there was a commotion in or near House of Harp and Dragon, and all agree that something happened to badly hurt the Bard.
Other rumors seem more believable in that a mishap was said to have occurred with a stage show rehearsal involving magic, and some burned and broken stage props and instruments are seen to be hauled out of the house later that evening.
Some rumors say that Alyster was taken to the House of Healing, but others say that Sylus and Darkharp went into the Suzail Docks where they vanished, or were arrested. With neither immediately in sight mostly it’s a curious bit of gossip.
