nwn.bioware.com/about/macversion.htmland "Atari has no plans to create Mac or Linux versions of NWN2. A porting developer would need to obtain a license from Atari and rewrite their code. Due to reliance on DirectX and other Windows-specific technologies, NWN2 would be more difficult to port than the original, which was designed from the outset to be cross-platform." from Wikipedia, but still, i think it's fairly valid. Unless she has a mac with an intel CPU, and is able to boot into windows, probably not going to happen for 2 for a while.

Yes, I have the mac version and run it on my computer, as does my wife. The only issue I've ever had with the mac version is on occasion, the screen will go all one color, like blue or green or whatever. You have to quit and get back in to fix it.
Only happens on macs and is maybe once every 20 hours or so of game time.

Actually transitioning between areas will fix this too, but that isn't easy if you can't see I have gotten lucky a few times and been close to one when it happens.
