An unarmed Redmist Guard hand delivers the following parchment to the Purple Dragons in the center of Suzail. They are informed to deliver it only to Battlemaster Lord Sthavar. The parchment is rolled and sealed by wax.
Lord Sthavar,
Recently a citizen of Redmist was abducted and taken to Red Ravens in Isinhold where he was tortured and jailed without cause, the assailants are minions of the Necromancer Phelzaron. More importantly, the Redmist Guard received a blackmail note from one of your Knights to release said prisoner in exchange for information. We have the note for your inspection if you wish.
Based on the above I can only surmise the Crown sanctioned the abduction from foriegn soil, torture and false imprisonment. I doubt the good people of Cormyr would relish knowing their rulers are in league with necromantic spawn that would turn them in mindless flesh if need be.
I recommend you clarify you governace over Isinhold and whether the Knights that patrol the town do so at the Crown's request. Note we are not so foolish as to believe not wearing the Kinight colors does not mean they are not working on your behalf.
Certainly, I do not need to advise you these actions, if indeed are a result of the Crown's involvement are acts of agression against Redmist and violate the treaty in place.
To be clear, my issue is whether the Crown is involved and holds alliance with these brigands. If not then I will handle them myself.
An audience can be arrange on neutral ground if you wish to speak on these matters.
