*looks to have been written by someone that does not write often*
To the High Magistrate of Cormyr
Sir I have recently spoken with Sharita Oversword of the Purple Dragons concerning my lack of charter which was taken away from me in the past for helping a murderer escape justice:
At the time I had all of my weapons and armour some of which held great personal value to me because they had been gifted to me by a dear friend taken away so I feel I have more than served my sentance,
Since then I been an active member of the Church of Tempus and realy behaved myself something that Oversword Sharita and a number of other Purple Dragons will atest to as well as having helped Purple Dragons on more than one past occasion!
When I spoke to Oversword Sharita she told me that she did not have a problem with me reapplying for a charter and that all I would need to do is repay the fee for the charter:
Both of us were unsure as to whom this fee should be paid and exactly how much it would be andeye I wonder if you can tell me so that I can pay it and regain my charter so that I can also apply for citizenship of Cormyr?
I can be reached at the Temple of Tempus in Thunderstone
Life and Everlasting Glory to you
Lynarra Bearslayer
Warrior Priestess of Tempus
Lynarra pushed the scroll away from her so that Battle Chaplin who was reading over her shoulder could see better. She was quite proud of the letter, it being the longest thing she had ever written in her life. Just the one spelling mistake when she took at eye for an I...Lynarra was pleased with herself.
The Battle Chaplins brow furrowed as she read the letter and from her demenour Lynarra could already begin to feel her pleasure deflating.
"It will do" The Battle Chaplin grumbled "But your punctuation is terrible, now seal it like I showed you and the runner can get it to Suzail."
After sprinkerling sand on the parchment to dry the ink, Lynarra carefully folded the letter and driped a large blob of wax on the join and pressed her seal into it. She was also quite proud of the seal, the Battle Chaplin had told her how to fasion one from a potato until she could get one made.
Removing the carved potato from the wax she admired the Bearclaw impression and grumbled to herself.
"I dont know what my punching people has to do with letter writting, I think its quite good."
