A note to the Council of the War Wizards in Suzial

I am writing the council on a personal matter. Some time ago an agent of Cyric the Mad was captured and imprisoned in Thunder Stone keep. It has come to my attention certain allegations of abuse, namely that during questioning of the prisoner the mans mind was severely damaged. I wish to meet with the prisoner to verify that such a ghastly tale is nothing more than a false malicious rumors of the crowns torture of a prisoner. Do not mistake me, if the man was found guilty of sedition against the crown he deserves to hang. However I can not in good conscience turn a blind eye to such doings.

Dear Madam Nefzen,

Thank you for your recent letter expressing concern for a prisoner currently held in Thunderstone Keep. Your concern about torture is well founded and I am gratified that subjects of the Crown bring such reports to my attention.

I will investigate this matter myself, if that is acceptable. If I find that a prisoner of the Crown has been mistreated, I will take the actions appropriate under the law. I have no tolerance for the mistreatment of prisoners.
