Greetings,
it has come to my attention, that many of the adventures around Cormyr seek the downfall of the good merchants of Cormyr, and wish to rob the crown of the rightful taxes due. Items found, recently that have been sold outside the crowns borders. However with the now need to become a licensed merchant, a local college allows adventurers to use their grounds tax free, and many of these items are of the quality or better of the some of the merchants around the crown, at a much lower cost. With these costs, I wonder how the common merchant may feed his family unable to drop his costs more. These that even barter here, escape Isinhold's laws in doing so. I hold such a license in Isinhold and do not barter inside crown lands. There is quite the difference between little Isinhold where some adventurers cannot acquire these wares to inside the crown where they are robbing it from those who do honest business.
I would urge the crown to impose a taxation, or licensing system as well, so that at least the crown is compensated, and even more so, the merchants that dwell in Cormyr do not loose as much business.

Sir,
Your concern, while touching, is misplaced. The Alizarin Academy is a valued addition to the pearl that is Marsember and is more then welcome to hold the bazaar under my good offices. I have personally spoken with Master Darkharp and the Academy will always be allowed to hold any event that brings many visitors to my city that fosters trade and cultural enrichment.
All are welcome to attend the bazaar when the Academy holds it if they attend with peaceful intentions, including yourself if you so wish.
