It is not often that I am moved to take political action. Today I witnessed a street merchant from another city setup in our village. She no doubt chose the location based on the popularity of our fine temple to Yondalla. There she sat selling items in direct competition to miss Brandioc within stone's throw of the temple entrance. I would like to see this practice discouraged in the most effective manner possible. The temple no doubt is highly dependent on the sales of healing supplies to finance it's operations and already offers the best prices of any temple in the country.
Sincerely, Billy Greenbottle Hero of Shallybrook
P.S. Still waiting on that statue.

... and just to show that I am willing to put my own money where my mouth is, you will always see me patronizing the local Shallybrook merchants whenever possible in order to support our economy. They will be used for all supplies that can be bought there, and also for selling of adventuring loot.

The letter concludes with a list of lesser 'quality of life' concerns for the local residents. 1. Lucky Clover Pub needs to hire a bartender 2. Should be space available at the lightfoot camp for locals to pitch a tent and rest. 3. Garden with scarecrow between the camp and the inn should have herbs planted for the locals to tend to. 4. Reconsider the policy of carving out large chunks of real estate for the tall 'uns personal use.

Sheriff Frimdriscol reads the letter and adds it to a pile of other correspondence.
"Bah nothin' a lawman can do about a legally licensed trader setting up shop in town if they ain't breaking the law. He's better writin' to business folk than me."
"Mind you, all these tall 'uns in town. It's causin' upset. Hope there ain't trouble abrewing."
The Sheriff frowns as he considers Shallybrook's local concerns and disagreements of the town, before putting down his correspondence and returning to patrol.
