I pen this having in less than a tenday witnessed two attempted murders and one murder and multiple assaults within your village. More percisely, within the Regal Griffon Inn. In one instance the owner of the inn was himself nearly caught in the fray and both his and my own businesses have been distrupted by the disturbances. Twice now I have been forced to restort to restraining combatants until Bentin could arrive less a bloodbath ensue. I am now thorougly convinced that there is a strong need for a militiamen to be posted within the Regal Griffon itself. This is to protect the well being and business of the villagers, travellers, and adventurers allike who frequent the establishment. If necessary I am willing to fund this myself, so that all of us well meaning, good hearted, and honest folks can be more at ease within the only lodging the village has to offer. Any reply to this message can be left with Kale at the Regal or passed to me through Bentin as I am often in the square selling my wares.
