If you have ever read the last Mythal book series there is an elven Subrace called the Star Elves. I was wondering if they would be a legal subrace for a character.

I think that'd be acceptable, but...they would be harder to play, supposed to be rather even more recluse then the Sun Elves, but we allow them, so I'd say Star Elves are A O K.

out of the elves, the mostly resemble moonelves. Hair is usually gold, red or silvery white. Eyes are gray or violet. Dress in neutral colors. They went to an explanar refuge, but have been slowly coming back recently.

Yeah what if we made Avariels or Fey'ri with the character extenders but have to build their skills on our own. But so the races arent commonly played and throw off the rp make it so the Fey'ri can't enter the major cities only the thayan Enclave and some other non good cities. While being treated as the drow would in all other cities.
And with the avariel being just the opposite but you need to prove yourself as a good Rp'er before you can play either race.
Just a thought. If a long one ;D

"Star Elves" are currently being discussed on the DM forums. If they are added to the approved list of races then this list will be updated.
Please choose from the approved races until that time. I.E. No star elves, no ghost elves, no keebler elves and no to avariel.
Thanks.

A detailed description of Star Elves can be found starting on page nine of the FR supplement Unapproachable East. It should be noted that Star Elves don't have a level adjustment, but they all possess the Extraplanar subtype, which I think should be taken into account as applying against them being allowed, since they are no longer considered native to Faerun, and the few that have returned are wary enough concerning non elves and even some other elf races, really only getting along with wood and sun elves. But it's just my personal opinion that they should be kept out of the possible PC pool

Well, as Justicar himself said it on the topic of horses, if you allow one exception, soon more people will want to have exceptions made for them. I, for one, have no idea why Tieflings and Aasimars would be disallowed if a race such as Star Elves (that aren't even as much as mentioned in the Campaign Setting) will be allowed... Unless of course the DM-team are prancing, dainty tights-clad elflovers, of course
