I realize there are tons of these on this forum, which spoke volumes for the server before I logged on. I planned my character out for two weeks before joining, getting lots of input from a few DMs. Since I have tons of real life things that have to get dealt with daily (wife, kids, work, housework, etc.) I have only been on in 30 minutes clips. However, I must say that the time I spent on this server has FAR surpassed any other PW I have been on. The people really roleplay well. The characters are obviously well developed and even the "veteran" players don't mind spending time roleplaying with a new character to help them learn.
The only problem I've run into is a VERY slow level progression. However, this is due to my limited time and not the server. However, I'll stay a level 2 forever if I can enjoy the type of roleplaying I have already enjoyed.
So to all of you that have met Gleayn O'Callen, thanks for the roleplay. To those of you that I will meet in the future, looking foward to the roleplay. To the DMs that deal with my "/dm" message for a language widget, thanks for not smiting me on the spot. And to all those involved in creating this world and making it an enjoyable escape from real life, thank you.

Pfft, that just because shes blind and trips over chairs in the Inn and with her measly lvl 1 Hit points has to respawn.

Thats pretty good, but she's a secondary char isnt she? I mean Marklar was lvl 11 or something like that for almost 9 months.

Most definitely a secondary character. And with only 3 hp a sliver would kill her outright! ;D

Funny thing here is *my* highest level character (that I didn't cheat on, heh) is level 12. Granted, I never had the opportunity to play as much as most of you but I did use to play quite a bit as a playtester/RP'er... and when the XP scale was much more forgiving. So, level is not the defining pinnacle of any character in my opinion. Hang in there SC and all who do because they love the game - good things come to those who RP and don't expect anything in return.

i have been playing the same guy for around 18 or so months and just got to 16th level. Many people have passed me by and at one time i was really frustrated till some fellers pointed out that some PCs become well known without massive levels. That becoming famous with in the game is just as cool as leveling. Evryone knows certain pcs and is very exciting to have people i have never met ask are you the dwarf named Guldar? *shrugs*feeds the ego like a level could never.
