There was a massive attack by undead two nights ago. Wave after wave of undead poured out of the grave yard and over the hill. Three Dwarves and a female ranger met them at a choke point and held them back as others fired missiles from further back.
Despite the seemingly endless numbers the line never faltered. In fact it began to gain ground moving up and over the hill and down into the cemetery. There they found a red glowing summoning pentagram. Once the last foe fell calling out to it's vile "Slithering" god. A Solar appeared, and with a single word and a wave of it's hand disrupted the pentagram.
The local Militia had done it's job, rushing the villagers and their live stock to safety. After the attack they thankfully rewarded the adventurers who defended their village.
