Here is a little more info than you asked for but others may be interested in subraces as well.
Currently, we are only supporting the Standard Races as per the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. We have included subraces for these standard races, but their abilities will as of yet remain unchanged. Subraces should be taken for legitimate roleplay purposes only For example, if you wish to play an elven archer who is a Wood Elf, you may type in "Wood Elf" in your subrace field upon character creation.
Valid races/subraces to chose from are the following:
Human Elf Moon Elf Sun Elf Wood Elf Wild Elf Dwarf Gold Dwarf Shield Dwarf Halfling Lightfoot Halfling Strongheart Halfling Ghostwise Halfling Gnome Rock Gnome Forest Gnome Half-Orc Half-Elf Half Moon Elf Half Sun Elf Half Wood Elf Half Wild Elf
Do not choose a head with horns, neither should you choose an inappropriate color for your character. i.e. no purple humans, no pitchblack elves, and no green halflings etc...

moon, sun, wood, wild. We debated on Santa's elves, but figured they really wouldn't have time to adventure because they're busy year round making toys.

Hey, you guys missed one. Garden gnomes.
... or would they also fall as a sub-sub-race to Rock Gnomes?

You'd have to be creative and come up with a reason why the telepathy no longer worked for the lil guy. I was going to just remove them from the list - instead I'm make a clear note in the rules that if selected they will not be able to make use of telepathy. Obviously we can't allow telepathy... Good eyes there....for a dwarf. And if I ever saw a "Garden Gnome" hehe...he'll make a fine addition to the decor inside the regal once I turn him to stone Now....underpant's gnomes! I'm suprised we don't have more of those!

The thing in the Fugue Plain is a Devil, and as such it can only operate there as permitted by the contract the Devils have with Kelemvor. That being said, it can't force anyone to be its girlfriend, it can only offer and it cannot be deceptive in that offer.

Good eyes there....for a dwarf. Hey, a dwarf can spot a grimy gold coin buried underneath a pile of rubble and ash in a dark unlit crypt from 500 yards!

EX: *to .... * [How are you today] Or if you wanted to talk to multiple people: *Speaks in the minds of .....* [We need to do something about this] O yeah this is courtest of Nordock Genesis: My old RP server until everyone quit after the main city was destroyed.

On the Ghostwise and telepathy I'd say it's far too metagamey for my comfort. Not to mention you'd end up with a case of "me too".
For instance, in one of the handbooks it does say that a Harper Pin does give the wielder a form of magical telepathy in which they can mentally speak to another with a Harper Pin. For metagaming reasons most servers do not grant this ability. Allow the Ghostwises to have access to it and I can guarantee you that others will find reasons for their character to have the same perk.
Naw, not a good thing no matter how you pull it off.

for the record, guldar does indeed bathe..it is vind who stinks. also, not all dwarves are battle ragers, that smell is your upper lip. the demon and guldar practice what happens in the fugue stays in the fugue, and who in the heck wants telepathy? i hate talking to the people i talk to now out loud.....much less in my head

True was just giving an example of how it worked on another server. We didn't really have any problems with it.

According to the FRCS, Ghostwise halflings can't communicate with more than one person at once with their telepathy, the two speakers must share a common language, and the range is only 20 feet.
Ghostwise are so reclusive that according to FRCS, they don't even have a name for their subrace and just refer to themselves as hin because as far as they're concerned, they're the only kind. That having been said, why would a ghostwise halfling be in Cormyr? They made wild elves look cosmopolitan by comparison. Having just one around Isinhold would be overpopulation by about 100%.
