Physical Description: A dashing man with bronze skin, wavey dark brown hair, a pearly, a gold plated eye and a green emerald eye. Trimmed beard, pearly white teeth and a curved Calishite nose. He is of a bodybuilders physique build, athletically trained, in a perfect blend of practicity, strength, elasticity and aesthetics ( he does seem to care a lot about aesthetics). Although he does not wear any perfume or cologne, his appearance is always pristine and clean, on his custom of taking at least 3 baths a day. On his neck, hangs a black chord with a small iron figurine of a blade hanging down, a symbol of another likely mercenary company form his past.
Traits: A bit obnoxious, arrogant and carefree, yet charming and a overall good company to some. He will literally hit on ANYONE who he deems interesting, regardless of race, gender (although he has embraced his preference for fwomen lately), social status or affiliation FOR THE EXCEPTION OF RED WIZARDS(he did lost count of the collection of lovers he has gathered along the road, and usually has disappeared on all of them without any proper goodbyes). He however prizes his freedom and the freedom of others above all else, harboring great hatred to tyrants, and specially, slave traders.
Short, resumed background:
Orginally called Hamir, Azash was the son of empoverished Calimport commoners, he was sold into slavery at the age of 4, to a band of Thayan artifact traffickers. He served them on their travels along with a blonde human girl of the age of 6, called Jasmine. After years of long abuse across the roads of the coast, the two slaves plotted the demise of their masters. At the age of 14, they took a golden opportunity and killed the blackguards in their sleep after a gruesome and usual troture session. After dumping their bodies, the now young adults took over one of the many disguises their masters used to travel safely on the road, taking over their business, with streetwise and smooth-talking, managing to sell all magical items in stock and pursuing a hapy life of travelling merchants of their own. Managing to peddle the best prizes and with a natural talent to compare and assert prices and profits, they soon gathered a small fortune, with enough sly to be under the radar of any major entities or authorities for quite some time. When they reached their twenties, they become not only partners, but also passionate lovers, and eventually, husband and wife. Life was boudn to a peaceful and joyful flow, until the seed of greed sprouted inside Jasmine's heart. Azash was happy with just being witht he one he loved. But Jasmine needed more.
Behind Azash's back, she did a one time deal with Thayans to traffick slaves, two humans, just as young as Azash and herself were when they met each other. He caught the deal red-handed and refused to accept it, disrupting the deal violently, which resulted in the death of the slaves and the escape of the Thayans. Furiously, and completely taken over by greed, she felt betrayed by Azash and charged at him with blade in hand, taking his right eye in a fell swing. Azash, however, pierced her heart with his dual balde on sheer reflex and self defensive instinct, and she was dead before she hit the ground.
He burned his caravan along with the remains of jasmine in the middle of the road, and wandered tthe lands, selling his services as a sellsword from company to company, bandits and highwaymen, even small town guards. He did so all across the sword coast and further, from the Icewind Dale to Athkatla, until he got word that the Thayans who escaped the failed slave trading all those years ago recognized him and Jasmine as slaves, and would be set for vengeance, once he reached Waterdeep. He then ghosted another of the mercenary companies he was currently at, grabbed his belongings, chose a new name for himself and set off towards the kingdom of Cormyr, hoping that the promises of riches form the need of adventurers would serve as a good cover, as well as grant him a chance to put his skills to use, and make some proper coin in the process.
