*Strange looking ravens are seen flying around Cormyr. The ravens land beside various people with a small piece of parchment tied to their left leg. The parchment looks old, the writing is faded and barely legible. It reads...*
*The parchment is stamped with the symbol of the laughing lich, after the parchment is read, it crumbles to dust.* *After the name is whispered the raven looks into the persons eyes and begins to caw uncontrollably, almost as if it laughing. The crow then flies of briskly.* Welcome to all that would be interested in joining our guild. Please send a PM to Ruin with your character name, and the members of the Order of the Thousand Nightmares will be aware of your interest. Again (just in case it was unclear), all classes and even characters that are from other religions that are sympathetic to our cause that are interested will be considered!

Posts go up on notice boards throughout the kingdom. some people say a humbacked woman was seen nailing the posts. Others a cloaked man. Still others may say a a half-orc, or tall woman, or even a halfling was seen tacking them up, or paying the poor folk to do so...
(Both the message above, and the response below are nailed to the boards)
Ah ha, Dear Reader, what can we say? An open call to Darkness, here in our fair lands! Those that wish to bring the darkness and foulness upon the land spit in your face! But we do have a question, yes we do! Or rather a line of questions.
Why must we "whisper to the raven"? Can we just not speak openly to Ahma? Or her lover Sarina? Or the other friends of necromancers - the "priestess of Ilmater", Siph. Or the "priestess of Isis", Bella. I'm sure they can help! Because as everyone knows, both Ilmater and Isis are overly fond of necromancy and evil! Perhaps the priestess Aleena can help you find them, too! To be sure, they have others friends as well - the pirate, the bull smith, and others Oh, yes, and your Thayan "masters" as well - cannot forget them!
But again, they aren't too hard to find, usually standing against the fence posts in Greatgaunt... thinking they are being sly, with their whispers. (Or perhaps they just have no shame? They certainly have no respect for you!) Just go up and ask! Of course, maybe they are not as stupid as they once were... so speak the magic words "the raven sent me to speak to you." (It might help if you smell like a dead fish, too!)
All the while, these Necromancers foul the very lands, unpunished for their deeds! And you, Dear Reader - the smallfolk. The farmer. The drover. The Cooper. The wainwright. The smithy. The baker. And all other occupations. You will be the ones to suffer while your ignorant betters turn the blind eye, smile, lie, and line their pocket with coin.
Who will stand up for the smallfolk?

Passerbys near the Great Hall of Valkur's Roar might hear the pained shriek of a bird, and a sickening crack, before witnessing a dead raven casually tossed from a slightly ajar window on the second story, landing on the steps of the building with a splat.

The common people read these post by Publius and shrug a shoulder:
"Who is Sarina? Who is Ahma? I got some shopping to do."
Children who have posted or other bought messengers that are asked by guards:
"I dunno..I just get paid.." A shrug follows
By the looks and sounds, most of the 'common' folk seem to care not for these names as their normal lives get in the way.
"The Orc situation is far worse than a couple of so called necromancers and these accusations?"
"Yeah... I agree... I pray our Regent will see the light on that.."
"You going to Green grass? "
"Oh yes! I have a the greatest outfit!"
....................
Meanwhile in the Greathall after a Raven is wrecked..
Murley worker: "Ha... I think Jonas smacked one! One point for you, but Im still two up on yah!"

*a woman in black and gold with elaborate tattoos of her country, Stops a moment and makes note of these posters*
"Well someone is working very hard to get recognition for this distaste" *small smile forms under her hooded a shadowed face* "Seems to get around. First propaganda at my wedding and seems this fellow is expanding" *muttered quietly to herself in mulhorandi*
After reading over the posts she'd stroll off into a random alley *tossing a few lions to those within* Fade into the shadows once distanced from any watchful eyes.

Somewhere above the rooftops in Valkur's Roar a raven with a small note flies, scanning the landscape below.....*shloop* ....*caw gurgle*...*splat* The raven splats to the ground as what looks like a pixie briefly appears glowing of magic, it wipes its bloody pixie lance and takes the note before disappearing again.
A tiny voice fades as the pixie takes flight..."Not in Roar you don't."

Chell would take down few, show and talk to all authorative organizations in Cormyr... He would also ask can he be of any help in this matter... All other posters he would come across, he would burn.

Ariean, the elf in drab, ignores the ravens. But after finding strange amounts of dead ravens in certain parts, she mutters to herself.
"But why? It's not the birds' fault, they are being misused. Animals are innocent, it's the people that are guilty."
Then she shouts out.
"Stop killing the birds!!! If you want to make a point, whisper threats in their ears, or even better, track them to their owners!!"

//Maybe they're Crebain from Dunland, and not ravens... "Ariean, what do your elf eyes see?" ((Ravens are FRC'S "pigeons" (go-to message birds) at least in my experience. So that's what Ari has to work with.))
