Leriel visits the Silent Room in Suzail and the temple of Oghma in Arabel. In the latter he inquires about Runa, in both places he will talk to the priests present, and show them a strange amulet with an eye on it that he keeps in a pouch. He will not touch the amulet and only lift, turn, or manipulate it otherwise by moving the cain it is dangling from. The eye seems to move and in every way looks like a genuine live eye. Leriel will account how a basic arcane inspection has revealed it to have some qualities of a scrying focus. He then humbly asks for the present priest's opinion and to be shown to books with information on magical artefacts and also books on cults or similar organisations where clergy might be inclined to wear jewellery of the kind.

Runa greets Leriel with a warm smile and as she gazes over the amulet, her brow lofts with intrigue,
"There are a few pantheons and other groups that resemble a symbolic eye. The Order of the Eye doesn't immediately capture a thought, but I am sure we can find something in lieu of such thoughts by searching for references; hence, reason you came."

“Our dear Brother Martin has looked into the matter of the amulet you have presented Leriel. Of the name nothing seems to well “fit”. There is the scandalous Eye of Justice, that heretical notion that the Triad are but one but no.” The priest shakes his head at the very notion.
“There is of course the Watchful Order of the Magists and Protectors out of Waterdeep and while numbering a thousand it seems unlikely this amulet has anything to do with that fine and noble order. Our brother faith Savras at times is referred to as the Third Eye but well that again seems a far-fetched notion. I am simply afraid that additional study of the amulet employing a more direct nature would be required. The runes are complex and of a strange nature and well by Brother Martin’s phrasing rather a puzzle. If you wish to leave the amulet with dear Brother Martin for further study such could be arranged. No charge will be levied as the knowledge of the runes is payment enough. Apart from that suggestion I am afraid our order Oghmante Church in Exile is well, stumped. “The priest sighs and seems rather abashed. “Take your time to decide, our doors are always open to all.”
With that the priest returns to his other duties.

Leriel thanks the priest on duty and explains he will gladly take up on his offer and surrender the amulet for further study if priestess Runa, whose curiosity seems to have been piqued, gives up.

Runa glances to Leriel and then to those of her faith, pursing her lips and considering a moment,
"I would suggest leaving the amulet for further study and allow Martin and others to thoroughly investigate. I am more of a field priestess and eventhough I am sure I could find something, those that are more closer to the shelves, know the shelves and they would be far more efficient than I."
The priestess' eyes dart about the quiet temple a moment before continuing, "If the Temple finds anything, Leriel, and there needs to be a little more exploration of this amulet that encourages us outside the comfort of this Temple, then I can join you and do my best to assist from there."
The Oghmanyte dips her head to the Elf with warm smile, awaiting his reply.

"In that case," Leriel replies with a small nod, "the amulet had better stayed here for a more thorough inspection." He adds also directed at the priest on duty, after a little pause: "Just to put whatever you may be able to find out into perspective, the amulet was found on a shady user of magic of the divine kind, if I got that right. He had some kind of dealings with a band of thieving wererats haunting the Suzail sewers. The incident may be totally unrelated to rat and wererat troubles in Valkur's Roar, but whatever you can find out to dispel a certain sense of foreboding that I feel will be much appreciated."
// So, if a DM wants to remove the item from Leriel's inventory, feel free.
