Hail Cormyrians, Just a heads up that we have two tropical systems passing through our area this week. The first one looks like it will be mild, but the second one has potential to do a lot of damage. FRC is remotely hosted so the server should steam on without a hitch throughout the storms. That said, I'll be out of commission for the next few days getting ready for the weather and then possibly further afterword depending on how things go. If there's anything depending on me that another member of the FRC Team can't assist with just be patient. Things will return to normal as soon as reasonable. In the meanwhile, a new NWN update is soon to launch from Beamdog. FRC will not update until we've had opportunity to test the update and address any issues that may arise. steamcommunity.com/games/704450/announcements/detail/2724067792533337541The update should be compatible with our current version (8193.13), so if you update (most of us have our game set to automatically update) you should still be able to play on FRC. Sometimes cross version compatibility can have a glitch or two. For the smoothest ride if there's a glitch, one might consider holding back on the update until FRC is ready. Any other Cormytes in the path of these storms, take care and best of luck to you! See you on the other side.
To set your game version to 8193.13 on Steam, first open Steam, navigate to your NWN game, right click, select properties In the Betas tab, locate the "Select the beta you would like to opt into" pull down menu, and select build8193.13. Click close and Steam should take care of the rest. If Beamdog pushes out the update, your game is not through Steam, and if you would like to remain on 8193.13 until FRC updates - please ask for help in our Tech Support section and someone from the Community may be able to assist. Your game provider should be able to offer assistance as well. frc.proboards.com/board/85/nwn-technical-support

Agreed,
Please take care, those who are in the path of these storms. I have recently moved from Houston further north so hopefully, all goes well. Be safe during these times and hurry back when you can. If possible a few words from those who are impacted by this situation would be welcome. I'm sure many are concerned about the wonderful people who are part of this community.

Well, I have a home to return to after a near miss. Lots of people in Louisiana won't be so lucky. I hope Hawk is ok, and his home is also alright.
