As the Stonelands are becoming a plot nexus, maybe the Orc Camp and Cloudstone could be included in the network of destinations. Or at least a point between them seeing as they are close together?

Per the current plot, there is no current safe road up to Cloudstone. i.e. not safe enough to have a regular caravan have a route up there, not without heavy guard.
There are peeps up in Cloudstone (both PC and NPCs alike) that are working on that.
EDIT: That's to say, if a caravan is developed it will depend on the way the plot goes. Encourage or discouraged by PC involvement.

I'm talking about teleportation destinations more so than caravan stops. Basically if you have been to a place you should be able to teleport there. "The caster had to have a clear understanding of the destination, both where it was located and its probable layout. A more accurate mental image of the destination made the teleport more likely to be successful. An area the caster was personally familiar with made the teleport almost guaranteed, but if they'd seen it only briefly, then it was much riskier. A false destination or one no longer existing guaranteed failure." forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Teleport styxx

Crew would have to set some time aside to add it in. *eyeballs building/scripting crew*

There could be IC reasons for not being able to teleport there.

There could be IC reasons for not being able to teleport there. Yes... like the place being full of currently unused [redacted] already.

as far as i know, the location is considered more as a player group at the moment than a city like valkur's roar. (hence it being a playergroup forum).
maybe that is also why its not added as a dooc in the OOC "Welcome to FRC" room?

oh before i forget: currently cloudstone is protected against teleportation, as there are alot of locations with teleportation portals (inactive) which could be connected to. this is to prevent any hostile forces from entering.

Is there a distinction between actual fixed ring portals and the teleportation spell? Thyrmgavin has a portal that links to Arralurran while not being on the list of teleportation spell book destinations.
I'm talking about the spell, not a fixed portal ring like some of the factions have. Which would have a limited number of people due to it's area of effect.
Also the destination could be outside the gates or even at the entrance pass to the Stonelands, which would be in between the Orc Barony and Cloudstone. Reducing the number of destinations needing to be coded.

All right, let me clear this up.
It is well known that there are many portals in the Cloudstone Palace. They are currently closed for security reasons. Rumors circulate that Lord Edmond Silverthorn would like to open the portal between the palace and the Silverthorn silver mine, but Baron Duncan Hornbow keeps denying his requests.
It is also known that the teleport spell does not work within the palace. More info is to be found out in-game.
Teleport works normally outside the palace (within the valley and beyond).
Player characters who take an interest in the Cloudstone Shield Barony and spend a lot of time there can be given a Cloudstone Player Token. This token lets them enter the Cloudstone area from the Player House portal in the Welcome Area. I have been quite reserved with these tokens so far, but as the story progresses, it might be easier to get one. I may also have missed some characters. Let me know if you think your character should have such a token.
I think this token should make it possible to teleport to Cloudstone (if it's possible to teleport to player houses).
As for a road or caravan access, that would depend on how the story goes. Adding a door in the Welcome Area or a teleport option for everyone is not planned at this time, as Cloudstone is supposed to be a rather isolated location... but we'll have to see how things develop.
