Ches 19, 1384, Valkur's Roar

The ground shakes about the Western Reach city and a series of booms rise over the noise of daily life. Lightening flashes from the sky. Flames and smoke rise up in the Northwestern quarter.

The walls of the Great Halls are scorched by fire and the construction topples over in flames, burning to cinders. Bodies of the dead are strewn about the quarter, mostly about the hall. Guardsmen, construction workers, townsfolk, and armed assailants caught up in the explosions and a bloody fight that followed.

The Castellan Aluxar Crownsilver and Vera Gudwerks the High Inquisitor secured the scene, pulling aside witnesses. They make it clear that the city will respond and there will be justice.

As the noise, shouting and hollering downstairs reaches her ears at her room in Talbot's, Mynian rushes out in time to see the rising smoke. Even before she can make it past the first bridge to the Northeast quarter she sees the people fleeing to get out of danger's path.

Seeing an older woman get shoved over and almost trampled, she stops to help, almost getting trampled on herself. Managing to avoid the worst, she helps the woman and begins hollering at folk to move -calmly- toward the gates of the Temple of Hoar or in a more orderly fashion to the southern parts of the city.

Getting lost in the crowds, she does what she can to get people to safe areas. Then directing any with stronger backs to help with the fire. Then tending to any injured.

Unable to break long enough to speak to any who knew what happened, Mynian spends the night and the day just assisting the people where they needed her.

After the word of the event reaches Chell, he goes to Valkur offering any help needed.

In Thrymgavin, Perrin reviews her mastered Runes in case Oghrann's aid is called for. While she may find the humans of Cormyr to be wanting as allies, still there were oaths sworn which would be upheld.
