History:
At a young age Xzanos's parents were killed in the fall of Nesme to the white dragon Arauthator, but not before they could teach him the power and importance of education. While he arrived in Silverymoon with many other refugees his education was able to obtain him work at the Map House and he was eventually provided with permanent living accommodations for his services. Over the years he studied the various places and history of Toril and almost all of his time was spent at the The Conclave of Silverymoon, offering his services wherever he could to expand his access to the libraries within. His curiosity about the world only grew with every turn of the page. Eventually gaining access to the Lady's College he began to delve into knowledge of the Arcane but was expelled in the middle of his first year of theory before even reaching practical spell casting classes. Frustrated he taking this as a sign that true knowledge must be sought out rather than taught and left Silverymoon in an attempt to continue his research at Candle Keep. The journey south proved more taxing than anticipated and as such he was only able to afford very limited access to the libraries at Candle Keep. The enchantment and spells within its walls almost completely eliminated the need for any traditional scribe and he was unable to find an opening in the libraries to work. Unable to live within Candle Keep he rented a room in Beregost at The Burning Wizard Inn and traveled to the Keep to research when he could gain access. One morning while calculating how many more days he could afford his current accommodations he glanced up and saw a brightly colored parchment on the bulletin boards seeking adventurers in Greatgaunt. While never thinking of himself as the adventuring type, preferring to stay out of danger whenever possible, he had always wanted to see as much of Toril as he could. Being the beginning of the 30th year of his life, time was not on his side... Deciding it was pointless to continue his research at Candle Keep without gaining further access, he turned in his room key and head out for Greatgaunt in search of work.
