You can add me to the numbers of those being a grandparent who still enjoys D&D. Began playing in 1985 with a few stops and starts along the way as real life took over. Still though, my grandson enjoys letting his friends know that he has a very cool (sort of) grandparent, who can relate on this particular topic.

I can hear the question now from my daughter. "Mom, when did grandma start playing d&d?"
My answer: "Well grandma started playing back in the 1980's with your grandpa and one other guy. I remember grandpa telling me this one story of an adventure in Ravenloft. It did not go well."
