Hello Legends!
I know the rule in place at the moment limits what our own characters can do/interact with each other behind the scenes. However...
Due to a recent event Jhessail found herself in she has decided to ask at Alizarin about Planar Lore. The issue with this is that my own Character is the Master of Planar Lore at Alizarin. Is it okay for him to teach her as long as that is all it is?
Big love, The Archivist

The general expectation is that characters do not benefit each either with items or exclusive information. If a player has two characters in the same organization for instance, it is reasonable that both characters would know the same general information (what the current plans and such of the guild) and be aware of the other members, their personalities, etc. However, the characters are not going to spend time and exclusive with lessons with each other "off camera" as it were. Perhaps their times don't coincide. Perhaps one or the other are always too busy to sit down. This is limitation when choosing to play multiple characters in the same organization.
I would suggest in your specific circumstance to look for outside teachers (there are several old players on the server with a vast knowledge of planar lore). A little more round about I know, but it does avoid the meta-gaming quandry of your characters benefiting each other.
You could also have discussions with other members about Planar Lore. They might not have the information you seek, but could aid in seeking it out, and develop further RP and story telling opportunities for yourself and other players.
