A parcel would find its way to the above. The letter, held in a wood cylinder marked with dethek runes, would smell strongly of balsa wood. It would read as follows...
Hail earthkin,
Some of you know of me and some of you have not had the pleasure of meeting me. I am D’Deridex Bludsmith, Dirgekeeper of the Deep... though most know me as Didi. I often visit your fine hamlet, to purchase supplies from your borrow and to eat at the Sugarsmith. I will say, though I am a stranger in a strange land, Shallybrook feels like home.
I wanted to reach out to schedule a time to speak with you, regarding a goal that I have. As you are aware, there is a cavern that leads from Two Tune Falls, to the frozen territories of the giants. It is my hope, to create a trading post within those caverns, and to perhaps provide Shallybrook with additional friends and protection with the local dwarves.
The trading post would serve the locals, exchanging Dwarven goods for Shallybrook food and mead. I am still attempting to make contacts, but should the Crown approve, I would request of them to provide a public banker at the depot. This trading post would obviously be public to all, save for the vault... which is something I think we can all agree should be safe and secure given the coin and valuables it would hold.
