Specifically certain faiths are not to harm certain creatures. For example Malar should not hunt the young nor female game animals. In-game is can be rather easy to end up shooting a fawn. Deer are actually some what difficult to bring down except fawns. You could be shooting a buck only to have it disappear and you strike down a faun. Another example Auril followers are never to bring harm to winter creatures. So much for wandering in the more artic settings of the server. I would imagine there are other examples as well.
SO.... do you simply leave any such creatures you have stumbled across, avoiding them by stealth or invisibility. This of course leaves the spawns wandering around.
Let a summoning deal with them under the assumption that such a creature is a servant of the divine and allowed such indiscretions.
Do the //occ killing of such. Never ideal.
Kill them and seek out penance? Although this while acceptable perhaps once doesn't look good over the long haul.
Feel free to move this question if the responses are better suited to another forum category.

I know you posted this in DM Q&A, so I went ahead and changed the title to match the forum. If you would like a general rp discussion of this question, it will need to be posted here: frc.proboards.com/board/51/general-discussionMechanically speaking, it is not ideal to leave spawns walking around, but at the same time, there is nothing wrong with refusing to kill a spawn and passing it by- for the sake of not killing the creature. I will be very careful to note however- doing this to reach loot is against server rules (9. Do not exploit the game's mechanics or cheat), even if it is for RP reasons. A character who has aversions to killing giants wouldn't be allowed to go there in stealth and empty out loot containers in the frost giant keep- as this is clearly ninja looting. ( Note: I know this isn't what the OP was implying, but I have to be clear about this for everyone) However, a person who has an aversion to killing giants, is on their way to kill a dragon- and spawns some giants on the way and has a religious reason for not killing giants? Need not kill those giants. Just keep in mind: As a high level, you will spawn harder mobs. So by lingering in an area that you are sneaking through (rather than leaving as soon as possible), you are leaving behind you a wake of difficult mobs that would not be balanced or fair for lower level parties. One of the most important rules of FRC is to have fun, but not at the expense of others. So when one is avoiding a mob they want to move past because they have rp reasons for NOT killing it, do try to leave the area soon after- as a courtesy to others. The server area cleaners will do the rest, shortly after the area is vacated. The rest of your questions fall into the grey realm of roleplay preferences, which I can't really speak to with clarity. Only that I hope to encourage as much rich roleplay as possible in FRC.
